Common Questions and Answers

When preparing my invitations, where should I tell my guests the chapel is
located?

The Medina Wedding Chapel is located at W8832 Hwy. 10, Medina, Wisconsin.

What is the mailing address of the Medina Wedding Chapel?

    Medina Wedding Chapel
    N853 Julius Drive
    Appleton, WI 54914

How long is the ceremony at your chapel?

Usually around 20 minutes. For example, if a couple wants 3:00 p.m. for  their ceremony, the total reservation time would be 2:00 p.m.-4:30 p.m. The couple can then arrive up to an hour before the ceremony. After the ceremony, they will have about an hour for their receiving line, photos, etc.

Does the Medina Chapel help locate a pastor or judge for the ceremony?

Yes. After you send in your deposit with the wedding form, we will locate a pastor or judge. The cost for the pastor or judge is not included in our price and is usually between $70-$100. Please pay the pastor or judge before your wedding day.

If I do not know what options I want right now, can I add an option later?

Yes, you may add options at any time. Many people find that it is easy to call or e-mail and add videotaping or an aisle runner.

What do I do if I want more than 2 1/2 hours on my wedding day?

You may have more time if it is available. Ask about cost and availability. However, 2 1/2 hours is usually enough. If you are having a professional photographer, let him/her know your reservation times. It is important that the building and grounds be clear by the end of your reservation time.

Where do I get my marriage license?

You would get the marriage license in the county where either one of you is a resident. The marriage license is good for 30 days, so you should pick it up 2-3 weeks before the wedding date. The Medina Wedding Chapel is located in Outagamie County.

May I bring my own decorations?

Yes, you can bring in flowers or other decorations. We would ask that you tell your florist to deliver your flowers at the beginning of your reservation time. Coming in any earlier might interfere with another wedding.
